The SGTO model is a Steam Generating Thermal Oxidizer system. Steam production and Pentane abatement requirements frequently do not match. The SGTO can:
- Vary steam output with steam demand dictated by production requirements independent from abatement requirements.
- Provide Pentane abatement independent from steam demand.
The RTO model is a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer system designed for facilities that have steam boilers and need to collect Pentane and provide abatement for large flows. The RTO can:
- Provide for low concentration Pentane in
high exhaust flows such as a completely
enclosed facility.
Provide Pentane abatement that is completely independent from
steam production.
In some cases, an existing boiler can be used as
an abatement device with the addition of a
custom designed collection system.
Ship & Shore Environmental, Inc. also provides process testing
services to determine abatement equipment size and safety.
