National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC)

Ship & Shore Environmental has been officially certified by National Women Business Owners Corporation as a woman-owned and woman-controlled business.

NWBOC is an important organization for women business owners. There are many local and national government agency programs to encourage doing business with certified women business owners. This includes qualifying as vendors to large private corporations. The women business enterprise (WBE) certification gives the women owner a chance to get government contracts and corporate contracts through implementation of a pioneering economic development strategy.  NWBOC is the first third-party certifier, established in 1995, to help the women develop their businesses.
